THE DIFFERENCE: Leading by a point late in the fourth quarter, King (2-6) decided to go for the first down on fourth-and-1 at its own 45. Leto (3-5) stuffed a quarterback sneak by Keith Graham and got the ball back with 5:50 left. Jeremy Deering's 10-yard TD burst up the middle gave the Falcons a 19-13 come-from-behind win and spoil King coach Earl Garcia III's return.

GAME NOTES: The Falcons got on the scoreboard first when Antwon Howard fielded the game's opening kickoff. The return was set up to the right, but Howard handed off to Jeremy Deering who hit the left sideline and ran untouched for a 77-yard TD. … King's first possession went three-and-out and the punt was blocked by James Guyton. The ball rolled out of the end zone for a safety. … Later in the first quarter, King blocked a Leto punt and Jarrel Livingston recovered the ball in the end zone for a Lions' TD.

STAT OF THE GAME: County leader in sacks James Guyton got two to give him 19 for the season.
