THE DIFFERENCE: The visiting Gators were nearly flawless on offense in the first half, racking up 241 yards and scoring on every possession en route to a 24-0 halftime lead.

GAME NOTES: Land O' Lakes quarterback Ely Payne ran and threw for touchdown scores, and contributed on defense with a diving interception on the Royal Knights' opening drive. River Ridge moved the ball to the Gators' 35-yard line on its second possession, behind three completions by Blake Spinks. But a bad snap followed by two consecutive sacks forced them to punt. ... Alex Spock drilled a 40-yard field goal to end the first half. ... Nine different players carried the ball for the Gators. Chris Singleton was the standout, with runs of 26 and 29 yards and a TD. ... River Ridge wide receiver Lance Babcock caught four balls for 42 yards. He also had a 46-yard TD grab nullified by a holding penalty.

STAT OF THE GAME: Land O' Lakes forced two turnovers and held River Ridge to 80 yards of total offense.
