Student May Have Been Splashed With Gas

Someone in a passing car threw what may have been gasoline on a teenager waiting for a school bus at 6 a.m. today in Odessa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
The 16-year-old was standing in the 19500 block of Pine Tree Road when it happened. He was not injured, authorities said.
The teenager did not see who was in the car and could only describe the car as white.
The boy told authorities he heard laughter as the car drove away.
The Tribune is not identifying the teenager because no one has been apprehended.
