ZEPHRYHILLS - The body found by tree trimmers last week in woods along State Road 54 has been identified and the death has been ruled a suicide, according to Pasco Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Doll.
She was 48-year-old Lori M. Heine of Zephyrhills. Her car was located at a nearby Sweetbay Supermarket.
An autopsy performed at the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiners Office in Largo determined her caused of death to be suicide, specifically asphyxia. The body was likely there about 30 days.
Heine had a history of depression, Doll said, and she had used her shoelaces, tying them around her neck and a small tree, and then sitting down.
