TAMPA - Trick-or-treaters may get a little damp and windblown Wednesday, but they'll also have an extra hour of daylight to prowl for candy.
The National Weather Service in Ruskin says there's a 40 percent chance of rain for Wednesday, though that will drop to 10 percent after about 7 p.m. and stay there through the evening.
That also is when the wind will pick up to about 18 mph until midnight. Gusts could reach 25 mph, so you can expect a bit of a breezy evening.
Temperatures will be about 80 near dusk and fall to the high 70s a few hours later.
Daylight-saving time hasn't reverted to standard time yet this year. That means the streets will be lighter an hour later than for past Halloweens.
The weather service says sunset will be at 6:46 p.m., with twilight lasting until 7:11 p.m.
