Do you know a child hero?
St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is taking nominations for their 11th annual Kids Are Heroes campaign, which awards children, between 5-18, who have shown extraordinary courage or charity.
The red-carpet ceremony is held at the Hospital, on Dec. 5, and all nominees will receive a trophy. The top picks, selected by hospital patients, are awarded a gift bag. Some of the past winners have saved a sibling from drowning or donated time to a charitable cause.
Nominations are due Wednesday, Oct. 31. To download and fax or mail a nomination, go to http://www.sjbhealth.org/body_childrens.cfm?id=368... or to www.stjosephschildrens.com and select "Kids Are Heroes" from the menu. Stay tuned for videos of the child patients' voting and the Award show.
