TAMPA - A man arrested in several rape cases pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of burglary with assault and sexual battery, stemming from an attack in 2003 and another in 2004.

He previously pleaded not guilty to other rape charges and has at least one outstanding rape arrest that has not yet been filed with the state attorney's office.

In all, Jerrod Pass, 38, faces 39 charges related to the rapes of seven women and girls, the youngest of which was 10 years old. He also faces charges related to the attempted rape of another woman. Pass is facing sexual battery, burglary, grand theft and false imprisonment charges.

On Tuesday, an investigator with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office took pictures of Pass' arms. Victims told authorities that their rapist had scars on his left arm near the wrist.

Pass is being held without bail at Falkenburg Road Jail.
