ZEPHYRHILLS - The body found by tree trimmers last week in woods along State Road 54 has been identified, and the death has been ruled a suicide, according to Pasco sheriff's office spokesman Kevin Doll.
The body is that of Lori M. Heine, 48, of Zephyrhills. Her car was located at a nearby Sweetbay Supermarket.
An autopsy performed at the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner's Office in Largo determined her cause of death to be suicide, specifically asphyxia. The body was likely there about 30 days.
Doll said that Heine had a history of depression. He said she tied shoelaces around her neck and a small tree, then sat down.
