Man Shot During Party At Tampa Apartments

Deputies collect evidence after one man was shot at the Foxcroft Apartment Complex in Tampa early this morning.

TAMPA – Deputies are looking for the man who opened fire at a party at the Foxcroft Apartments at 3912 Tower Road, just off North Dale Mabry Highway.
About 3:30 a.m., 20 to 30 people were at the party when a fistfight broke out between the man and 21-year-old Jay Martinez. Martinez left the party, and the man followed him outside, the sheriff's office said in a statement.
The man fired several shots at Martinez, striking him twice in the upper body and once in the leg, deputies said. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
The man fled. Deputies say he is white, 5-foot-6 and more than 200 pounds, with a blond crew cut and tattoos. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
