Chances are you have seen our Fan of the Week, Roman Diaz, at the Bucs games and related events for years. You just would never recognize him without his mask.

Diaz is the real life fan behind Captain Bones; the skeleton pirate that has been haunting the Bay since 1976. His oversized pirate skull mask and elongated skeleton arms make him a fan favorite when handing out beads at Gasparilla and charity events.

"Depending on who makes the roster," Diaz says "this team has wild card potential this year."

Even when he isn't in costume, Roman can be seen riding around the streets in his skeleton-adorned pirate ship. (actually it's a Chevy Blazer)
