THE DIFFERENCE: Senior RB Samir Baker scored six TDs - three on the ground on runs of 2, 80 and 47 yards and three more via the air - to lead Brandon (1-1). QB Tracy Burr found Baker from 23, 23 and 53 yards against the Lions (1-1).

GAME NOTES: Brandon's first two scores came off turnovers. … On the Lions' first offensive play, QB Daniel Graham was sacked and lost the ball, setting up a Brad Keefe field goal. … Later in the quarter, Graham was blindsided by junior LB Deandre Bowers, causing another fumble and setting the Eagles up on the Lions' 2-yard line. Baker punched it in on the next play. … The Lions' first touchdown came on a Donovan Celerin 52-yard run but after King's kickoff, Brandon answered when Baker went 80 yards. … Baker got in the end zone one more time in the first half taking a reverse 47 yards with 35 seconds remaining in the second quarter and then opened the second half scoring by taking a 23-yard pass from Burr...Graham drove the Lions down in the fourth quarter and scored on a two-yard plunge but the Eagles answered again when Burr's screen pass to Baker went for a 53 yard touchdown…King got the game's final score when Graham found Dominic Leak for a ten-yard touchdown…Graham finished 11-for-17 passing with a touchdown. pass and two interceptions by Deandre Bowers… Burr was 10 of 21 for 176 yards, finding Baker five times for 144 yards. … The Eagles' win avenged a 21-14 loss last year.

STAT OF THE GAME: Baker had 258 yards from scrimmage; 144 yards rushing and 114 yards receiving.
