Wimauma Teen Dies Outside Scoops In Orlando

ORLANDO - Brent Bennett, 18, of Wimauma, collapsed outside a bar Friday night and died shortly after being taken to a hospital, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Office reported.

Bennett, who graduated from East Bay High School in May, was attending the University of Central Florida.

Deputy Carlos Padilla said the initial autopsy by the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office gave no indication for the cause of death and that further tests are being conducted and may take several weeks.

Padilla said Bennett collapsed in the parking lot outside Scoops bar near the UCF campus.
