ST. PETERSBURG - Ryan Byler was upgraded Wednesday from critical to serious condition at All Children's Hospital.
Karoline Byler, who gave birth to Florida's first sextuplets Sept. 1, said Ryan is breathing better and was also able to have a chest tube removed.
"That's a huge bonus for him," said his mother. "He was downgraded to a standard ventilator."
He joined Jackson (also on a ventilator) and MacKenzie in serious condition. Brady, Eli and Charlie are in fair condition.
