ST. PETERSBURG - Photos and video of the Byler sextuplets were released this morning at All Children's Hospital, and their mother beamed while glancing at posters of the infants after a news conference.
"That photo of Zoe holding Eli's foot is our favorite," said Karoline Byler, smiling at husband Ben.
Zoe is the couple's 4-year-old, who asked for a sibling and got six.
Mackenzie Margaret, the only girl in the set, was upgraded today from serious to fair condition. She was taken off a ventilator, had a chest tube removed and began feeding on pumped breast milk.
Ryan and Jackson are on ventilators and in serious condition, and Brady, Eli, Charlie and Mackenzie are in fair condition.
Fauzia Shakeel, one of the doctors tending the sextuplets, said, "We are very happy with the progress of the infants. They have premature lungs and premature brains. Hopefully, they will catch up."
They are expected to go home to Wesley Chapel in November.
"What I want for Christmas is the nine of us taking a picture in front of our tree on Christmas morning," Karoline Byler said.
