GAINESVILLE - Sign stealing doesn't seem to weigh on the conscience of Florida coach Urban Meyer.
'We always look. We don't video it. If we did, I wouldn't tell ya we do it,' Meyer joked Wednesday.
The NFL is investigating reports the New England Patriots videotaped the New York Jets' defensive coaches signaling players on the field during Sunday's season opener.
Meyer said he has been able to figure out signals while on the field, and it has resulted in an advantage, but he never has videotaped opponents. Meyer also said he has been in situations where he has worried that opposing teams steal his signs, but it's usually from a defensive standpoint.
'On offense you don't because they usually wear wrist bands,' Meyer said. 'On defense, I worry about it all the time. But our coaches do a good job. They change things up.'
