CLEARWATER - A man who was thrown off a third-floor breezeway at a Clearwarter hotel by his brother-in-law Sept. 12 has died. William Donahue, 21, of Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, is now facing second-degree murder charges.
Donahue and brother-in-law Joshua Goodin, 25, of Tampa, had been arguing all night at the resort where they were staying with friends and family, said Clearwater public safety spokeswoman Elizabeth Daly-Watts.
Alcohol was a factor in their ongoing feud, she said.
About 4:10 a.m., Donahue threw Goodin off the third-story breezeway at the Sea Stone Resort, 504 S. Gulfview Blvd., Daly-Watts said.
Goodin died this morning at Bayfront Medical Center, according to officials.
