CLEARWATER - A Virginia man accused of throwing his brother-in-law off a third-story hotel breezeway faces a charge of second-degree murder.

Police arrested William Donahue, 21, of Langley Air Force Base, on Wednesday on a charge of attempted murder. Police said he tossed Joshua Goodin, 25, of Tampa, off a breezeway at the Sea Stone Resort, 504 S. Gulfview Blvd., shortly after 4 a.m. after arguing throughout Tuesday night.
The charge was upgraded to second-degree murder Sunday. Goodin died at Bayfront Medical Center on Saturday night, Clearwater public safety spokeswoman Elizabeth Daly-Watts said in a news release.
