Tell me how you got into golf?
I started when I was 5, but I didn't play consistently. Then when I was 12, I started getting into the junior stuff, and then I just kept doing it from then on. I've liked it and I've improved, so I've just kept playing and practicing a lot.
What's kept you playing?
Parents and coaches, you know, helping me and giving me positive feedback on it.
There were quite a few spectators with your group against Wharton. It seems like you've got a nice little contingent following you around. Why is that?
I've always got my family following me. Most of them come out every match. Whether it's just my dad, or my mom, or more, there's someone always following me.
Does that put any extra pressure on you?
Actually, it doesn't. I like it. I feel like they're here watching me and supporting me. If I have a good game I want them to see, or if I have a bad game ... well, I don't want them to see that.
If you could change one thing in golf, what would it be?
I don't know. I guess, no out of bounds or red stakes ... or water. Well, the water doesn't bother me that much. But no out of bounds.
