RB Is 6th Texas Player Arrested
AUSTIN, Texas - Texas freshman running back James Henry has been charged with two felony counts of obstruction and tampering with evidence, making him the sixth Longhorns player arrested since June.
Henry, arrested Monday, is accused of beating up one of the victims of a July home invasion that allegedly involved two other players, Andre Jones and Robert Joseph.
Henry was booked into Travis County Jail where bond was set at $30,000. He was released Tuesday morning and coach Mack Brown said he was suspended indefinitely from the team.
Henry, who redshirted last season, has played in two games on special teams for the No. 7 Longhorns. Travis County jail and court administration officials did not immediately have a record of an attorney for him.
'It was a mishap,' Henry told the San Antonio Express-News after his release. 'They just came and got me, and said they had a warrant for me. I'm trying to figure out what's going on.'
Brown defended the integrity of his team and football program when he met with reporters after practice Tuesday.
'When someone is accused of trouble or has trouble, it is devastating to me personally,' he said. 'It's really all on me. It's on me alone.'

Man Who Defused Racial Dispute Dies
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Louis J. Willie Jr., 84, a black businessman who helped defuse a racial dispute surrounding the 1990 PGA Championship by becoming an honorary member at the all-white Shoal Creek club, died Sunday night.
. Shoal Creek Country Club, in suburban Birmingham, was the site of the 1990 PGA Championship. Protests mounted after the club president said Shoal Creek would not be pressured into accepting black members. Willie helped quiet the situation by accepting an offer of honorary membership.
Afterward, the Professional Golf Association and other golf groups said they would no longer hold tournaments at clubs that lacked minorities or women as members. An advertising executive became Shoal Creek's first dues-paying black member in 1996.

Witness: Thomas Changed Attitude
NEW YORK - Months after berating her in expletive-filled tirade, New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas moved from cursing to courting a fellow executive now suing the basketball Hall of Famer for sexual harassment, a former team employee testified Tuesday.
Jeffrey Nix, a 15-year employee of the NBA team, took the stand in U.S. District Court to recount a series of conversations he had with his friend and co-worker, plaintiff Anucha Browne Sanders, throughout 2004.
Sanders, in tones of disgust, detailed how Thomas initially treated her with contempt shortly after his December 2003 arrival in New York, Nix testified.
By the end of the year, though, Nix testified that he saw Thomas embracing Browne Sanders in Madison Square Garden after a Knicks' victory, and watched as his friend pushed the coach away.
