Audio: 911 Calls From The Scene
TAMPA - Hillsborough County State Attorney Mark Ober reported Wednesday that sheriff's Deputies Shawn Duggan and Robert Carr were justified in using deadly force in the shooting death of Michael Allen Phillips.
Phillips fatally shot Sgt. Ron Harrison last month. Phillips later was shot dead at his home by deputies who tracked him there based on a tip from his ex-girlfriend, Rosa Bradley. Phillips had called Bradley and told her he killed the deputy.
Bradley said Wednesday that she did not want to relive the events of Aug. 15.
'I just want to move on with life. ... All I have to say is if a guy that shoots and kills a cop is living to tell the story, let me know. It doesn't look like they get out of it alive.'
