THE DIFFERENCE: Robert Murrell's 51-yard touchdown run, with some downfield assistance through a massive block applied by wideout Brian Parker, set the tone late in the first quarter to lead Bradenton Prep.

GAME NOTES: Cambridge received plenty of different looks from the Bradenton Prep offense as the Patriots switched between QBs Tervaris Hines and Zach Hammond. Hammond, an eighth grader, started the game but spent the majority of it handing the ball off to Murrell and Hines. ... Hines finished 4-for-9 passing for 108 yards and one touchdown and one rushing touchdown. … Murrell rushed for 146 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns, his second on a 30-yard untouched run through the Lancer secondary. ... Seventh-grader Horatio Papillon started for the Patriots on the line and played throughout the game.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Patriots' Quinton Carter forced two Lancers turnovers in the first half with a fumble recovery and an interception. The fumble recovery lead to Hines' 19-yard touchdown run three plays later.

QUOTE OF THE GAME: "They were an extremely quick team that blew us off our stack. We were playing from behind all day. Our offensive line held up, but our receivers were blanketed." - Cambridge coach Rick Shears
