TAMPA - Police say a Tampa man threatened his roommate with a knife and tried to rape his roommate's girlfriend Sunday morning.
Carlos Gonzalez-Cambranis, 24, was arrested on charges of armed kidnapping, armed sexual battery and aggravated assault.
According to the affidavit:
The 1:30 a.m. incident happened after Gonzalez-Cambranis, of 3006 W. Main St., returned home and demanded his roommate's girlfriend have sex with him.
When the roommate objected, Gonzalez-Cambranis pulled a knife and threatened to kill him if he didn't leave.
The roommate left.
Gonzalez-Cambranis threatened the woman with the knife, punched her face and head, forced her to the ground and touched her inappropriately. Tampa police showed up soon after and stopped the attack.
Gonzalez-Cambranis is being held without bail in the Orient Road Jail.
