Regarding 'Time For Hillsborough Schools To Bid Bon Voyage To Fuzzy Math' (Our Opinion, Sept. 23):

Thank you for a great editorial. I really liked the part about the college professors. I am 9 years old and have always had trouble with Voyages. It does make my head fuzzy, and I feel very stupid in math. Everything gets so jumbled. I can add, subtract, multiply and divide. I just have trouble doing it together with a million other things that the book asks for.

I hope that the school board will change the program. I really think that we need to spend more time on the basics. I know that I could be a good math student if we just had more time to learn things.
