You've got questions and I've got the answers. Well, I try to find the answers. But this is not rocket science and I get lucky a lot.
The e-mailbag is full of queries about series that are missing in action on the new fall lineups. But first, let's get to the 'question of the week' from Stephanie Hall of Palm Harbor:
I'd like to know if you have any current information about the AMC show 'Hustle.' Episodes appeared several weeks ago without Mickey. Can I expect him and the show to return?
This British series about a talented band of con artists who rob from the rich and corrupt to give to themselves will continue for a fifth season, according to reports in the British press. But just how many episodes will be filmed or when they will be filmed has not been announced.
After the third season, Adrian Lester, who played "Mickey' Stone, was written out of the series. He went on to work on another BBC series, 'Ghost Squad.' There have rumors he may return for the fifth season.
To date, there have been 24 episodes of 'Hustle,' which co-stars American actor Robert Vaughn ('The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' and 'The Magnificent Seven'). AMC, which co-produces the series, has enjoyed some success with the American showings. However, 'Hustle' has been overshadowed by AMC's newest drama, 'Mad Men,' which has been renewed for another season.
What happened to 'Medium' and 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent'? And is there just one 'Law & Order' on now?
Marilyn Therrien, Tampa
'Medium' and the original 'Law & Order' will return to NBC at midseason.
'Law & Order: SVU' returned Tuesday. New episodes of 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' begin Thursday on the USA network.
I'm a big fan of CBS' 'Amazing Race.' I thought it was to return this season, but it is not on the schedule. It's not even listed on the CBS Web site. Where is it? When is it coming back?
Eric, Lakeland
'Amazing Race,' which recently won its fifth Emmy as best reality show, comes back at midseason. Because it involves dozens of locales globally, it takes longer to produce than other reality shows.
