THE DIFFERENCE: Sickles' special teams blocked two punts, one of which resulted in a 13-yard touchdown return by junior Tyler Sinclair, and blocked an extra point on Bloomingdale's only score. Kicker/punter Corey Page gave Sickles a 10-0 lead after he nailed a 44-yard field goal in the second quarter. Page punted the ball deep in Bloomingdale territory on numerous occasions to put the Bulls in difficult field position.

GAME NOTES: Sickles senior RB Josh Mendez had 19 carries for 85 yards and one touchdown. … Bloomingdale QB Jose Alvarez completed 13 passes for 159 yards, one touchdown and an interception. … Bloomingdale WR Greg LaClair caught six passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. … Sickles QB Cullen O'Brien completed seven passes for 77 yards with an interception. He also rushed for a 2-yard touchdown. … Sickles coach Pat O'Brien said the team had never gotten off to a 4-1 start in its history.
