St. Pete Police Need Help Identifying Bandit

ST. PETERSBURG – Police need help identifying a man who robbed a BP station at 2753 Fifth Ave. S.
At 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, a heavyset man wearing a hooded camouflage jacket entered the station and approached the manager behind the counter, authorities said. He covered his head with the hood and robbed the manager at gunpoint of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The gunman and a man who served as a lookout drove away in a gold Jeep Cherokee.
A surveillance camera snapped a clear image of the bandit. He is a light-skinned black man, 6 feet tall and weighing 275 pounds. There was no description of the second man.
