LACOOCHEE - A 48-year-old Dade City woman was critically injured in a two-vehicle wreck this morning on U.S. 98, the Florida Highway patrol said.
Denise A. Ingram was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, where her condition was not immediately available.
According to the highway patrol:
Ingram's 1998 Ford was hit on the driver's side as she attempted to make a left turn onto U.S. 98 from a driveway near Connerly Road. The crash happened at 7:45 a.m.
Ingram's vehicle was struck by a 1994 Jeep sport utility vehicle driven by Patricia Decker of Ocala. Both Decker and her passenger, Denise Hall, 22, also of Ocala, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital.
