Lisa Marie Lets Secret Out: She Is Expecting Twins

Lisa Marie Presley is pregnant with twins, her publicist confirms to People magazine.

"She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time," the singer's mother, Priscilla Presley, told "Entertainment Tonight," which broke the news.

Presley, 40, who is expected to give birth in the fall, has two teenage children with ex Danny Keough.

The twins will be Presley's first children with husband Michael Lockwood.

Speculation about Presley's pregnancy first surfaced after the Daily Mail published unflattering photos and alleged the singer had an unhealthy appetite. Presley sued and the paper apologized.

Obama Issue Overblown, Scarlett Says

Scarlett Johansson can laugh about it now, but the actress says she was embarrassed by the media coverage of her so-called "e-mail relationship" with Barack Obama.

"It seemed to me to be like a product of extreme sexism, and I kept thinking to myself, 'God, if this was just, like, Kal Penn or George Clooney or any of the other Obama surrogates or supporters ... there wouldn't be any question about it. Nobody would even talk about it," she said.

Johansson, a vocal supporter of Obama, told Politico.com in June that she and the Democratic presidential hopeful had been trading e-mails. Obama later told reporters that Johansson doesn't have his personal e-mail address, and that his assistant forwarded one message from Johansson to which he replied.

The 23-year-old actress is promoting her new Woody Allen film, "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," which has its share of buzz over Johansson's much-hyped kiss with Penelope Cruz.

Paris Responds To 'White-Haired Guy'

Paris Hilton, who was thrust into the presidential campaign in an ad by John McCain, issued a tart rebuttal Tuesday, albeit in a scantily clad, tongue-in-cheek kind of way.

Last week, McCain launched an ad comparing rival Obama to Hilton and Britney Spears, suggesting Obama was no more than a celebrity unready to lead the nation.

Hilton responded Tuesday with a spoof on the comedy Web site Funny or Die.

"Hey America, I'm Paris Hilton and I'm a celebrity, too. Only I'm not from the olden days, and I'm not promising change like that other guy. I'm just hot," Hilton said, speaking as she reclined in a pool chair in a bathing suit and a pair of pumps. "But then that wrinkly, white-haired guy used me in his campaign ad, which I guess means I'm running for president. So thanks for the endorsement white-haired dude."

"I want America to know that I'm, like, totally ready to lead," she said.

She then discusses her energy policy, and suggests a hybrid of McCain's offshore oil drilling plan and Obama's incentives for new energy technology.

"Energy crisis solved! I'll see you at the debates," she said.

Movie writer-director M. Night Shyamalan is 38. Singer Geri Halliwell (Spice Girls) is 36. Actress Soleil Moon Frye is 32. Rock singer Travis McCoy (Gym Class Heroes) is 27. Rock musician Eric Roberts (Gym Class Heroes) is 24.
