BONITA SPRINGS - Lee County Sheriff's detectives are looking for a person of interest in the weekend homicide of a 25-year-old woman.
A newspaper carrier discovered Tia Poklemba sitting in the road at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Officials said she was bleeding, her dress was around her waist and her top pulled down and she was missing an ear.
Poklemba died shortly after paramedics arrived.
She was last seen at the Best Western Spring Resort tiki bar in South Fort Myers. Police said she was seen leaving the bar with a white or Hispanic male in his mid 20s, with black medium hair and a black T-shirt with logos on the back.
Detectives say they want to talk to the man and say he is not a suspect at this time.
