LARGO - Arson detectives are investigating a pre-dawn house fire that injured two men in the High Point area of Pinellas County, Largo Fire Rescue reported.
Ryan Barger, 26, of 15677 Morgan St., the residence where the fire occurred, and Nicholas Berry, 21, of 5250 Roosevelt Blvd., were taken by ambulance to Tampa General Hospital. They were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, according the report.
Largo firefighters responded to the fire about 5:45 a.m. Saturday after receiving a 911 call from a neighbor, Michael Knappenberger.
Knappenberger told authorities that two men had come to his door and told him that they were injured after someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the bathroom window and into the home, authorities said.
Investigators said that their findings did not support the use of a Molotov cocktail as the cause of the fire, but they are still investigating.
