Three men delivered several pounds of methamphetamine to a law enforcement agent in Plant City on Saturday afternoon, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested Francisco Pagan, 35, of Tampa, Miguel Osorio, 19, of North Florida, and Excargo Lara-Gonzalez, 30, of Plant City, at James L. Redman Parkway and East Alexander Street.
All three were charged with trafficking in illegal drugs and conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine.
On the week of Aug. 4, narcotics detectives learned of a methamphetamine trafficking organization, deputies say. They seized more than 5 pounds of methamphetamine and more than $38,000 cash.
The street value of the drugs is estimated at $500,000, a sheriff's office news release states.
Plant City police and the Drug Enforcement Administration helped in the investigation.
Pagan, Osorio and Lara-Gonzalez remained in Orient Road Jail today. Their bail had not been set.
