TAMPA - A stripper from Plant City was involved in her boyfriend's shooting, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested Holly Ann Courcelle about 1 p.m. Tuesday. She was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The incident began over a dispute involving $150 owed to Courcelle's boyfriend, 23-year-old Henry Chriss of Lakeland, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. A criminal arrest affidavit doesn't say who Chriss was arguing with about the money.
Courcelle, 18, called Chrissabout 20 times to arrange a meeting, and Chriss went to meet her and another person about 12:34 a.m. July 6 at Sligh Avenue near Harney Road, the affidavit states.
The other person used a handgun to fire 13 to 15 shots into Chriss' 1999 Ford Explorer, and Chriss was shot in the left hip and spine, according to the affidavit. Chriss was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.
The shooter's name isn't listed in the affidavit, and the affidavit doesn't state whether the shooter has been arrested.
Courcelle remained in Orient Road Jail today. Her bail had not been set.
