NEW PORT RICHEY - On Saturday, at Gulf High School's Des Little Stadium, Project: Rock For Autism, a benefit concert organized by International Baccalaureate students Steve Toth, Britt Smith and Krystal Rosado, raised $1,050 for the Florida Gulf Coast Autism Association.
The participating bands included Worst Case Scenario; THD; Everyone, Disappear; Da Jook City Boyz; and the Frank Sherwood Experience + Lily.
Sponsors included Aaron's; James A. Dwyer; Florenda L. Fortner; Bob's Feathered Friends; Encore Music; Badcock Furniture; The Home Depot; Target; Pit Boss Bar-B-Q; and Vickie's Shaved Ice.
Also helping were the Gulf High School ROTC and the New Port Richey Police Department.
