HOLIDAY - Pasco sheriff's detectives are questioning a man after a robbery that occurred at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at a Bank of America branch.
A man walked into the bank at 4539 Bartelt Road, handed a note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the preliminary investigation.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office put out a be-on-the-lookout bulletin for a Chevrolet Cavalier seen driving from the scene.
Cpl. Marshall Maseda saw a vehicle matching the car's description on Grand Boulevard, just south of Moog Road, and pulled it over. Maseda discovered the driver had an outstanding warrant and questioned him, according to sheriff's office spokesman Doug Tobin. During the questioning, the corporal also found a backpack filled with cash in the front seat of the vehicle.
