SEBRING - Grace Academy, a ministry of Sunridge Baptist Church, announces the beginning of the new school year on Aug. 18.

It is accepting enrollment applications for the 2008-2009 school year. The school, which is beginning its ninth year in Highlands County, enrolls students from K3 through 12th grade. The application fee is $50 per student with a registration fee of $100.

Tuition runs from $3,000 per year for kindergarten to $4,200 per year for high school (9th -12th grade). There is an annual book fee and a 10-month interest-free payment plan. Before and after school care is also available.

McKay scholarship funds are available for special education, and an N.I.L.D. (special learning program) is also available. Florida PRIDE scholarships are available for qualified families.

Grace Academy is located on the corner of U.S. 27 and Valerie Boulevard (directly across the street from Florida Hospital Heartland Division).
