Eastbound Courtney Campbell Parkway Reopens

TAMPA - A section of eastbound Courtney Campbell Parkway closed due to a gas leak has reopened.
The lanes between Rocky Point Drive and Bayport Drive were closed after a construction crew hit a 4-inch natural gas line on the south side of the parkway east of Rocky Point Drive. TECO People's Gas crews shut off the flow of gas about 1 p.m. and the road will reopen soon, Tampa Fire Rescue officials said.
No one was injured.
