HUDSON - While being taken to the Land O' Lakes Jail late Friday, Emmanuel Louis Fellouzis could have kept his mouth shut.

Instead, he uttered something that could top a list of things one shouldn't say while handcuffed in the back of a sheriff's cruiser.

"Next time, I will shoot all you cops," Fellouzis repeatedly said, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's report.

By then, Fellouzis, 48, of 15440 Joshua Lane, had threatened to shoot his wife, as well as a sheriff's helicopter that was called to help remove him from his home, records said.

Deputies were called to Fellouzis' residence on a domestic-related call just after 9:30 p.m., records said.

According to the sheriff's office:

He is accused of pushing his wife, hitting her with a large candle and threatening her with a shotgun. She fled the house as he loaded the weapon.

A deputy responding to the call saw Fellouzis enter a shed on the property and heard him load a round into a shotgun. He went back inside the house, turned off all the lights and released an unreported number of dogs.

A deputy who made telephone contact with Fellouzis said he threatened to shoot down the helicopter if it didn't leave. Another deputy stationed near the residence saw Fellouzis aim his shotgun at the chopper, but no shots were fired.

Fellouzis eventually emerged from his residence unarmed.

Charged with domestic battery, aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, he was being held without bail Saturday at the Land O' Lakes jail.
