Arcadia: Rain Picking Up And Gusts Expected

Dark clouds hover over Arcadia as the wind picks up.

ARCADIA - 6:34 a.m. The rain is beginning to intensify, and tropical wind gusts of up to 39 mph are expected.
There are no power outages or flooding. No injuries or damage of any kind has been reported at this time.
There is one evacuation shelter open at DeSoto Middle School. About 17 people spent the night.
There has been no mandatory evacuation.
About 4 to 8 inches of rain is expected, which may cause flooding at Horse Creek and the Peace River.
