Congratulations To Citrus Park

For years, my son and his teammates at Tampa Bay Little League have faced the boys from Citrus Park, fully aware that there was something different about this team. Even at 9 years old, in Little League's youngest All-Star tournament, it became evident that Citrus Park was the team to beat.

Three years later, the writing is still on the wall. Every other team in Florida's District 6 knew the legend that had become Citrus Park and they knew they had to beat their long-time nemesis to advance. Despite some excellent rallies, once again Citrus Park felled every other team they met in Florida's All-Star tournament and then went on to defeat the teams from each state in the Southeast region. These boys' strength in the field, on the mound and at the plate has made them a dominant force.

Congratulations Citrus Park Little League for showcasing the incredible level of talent in Tampa Bay!
