Owner Of Burned Out SUV Containing Body Identified

Investigators search the area where a burning SUV was found Saturday with a body inside. The vehicle was owned by James Patrick Fry.

TAMPA - Investigators said a car in which a burned body was found on Saturday was owned by James Patrick Fry, 47, of 3011 Gandy Blvd.

Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department have not identified the body that was discovered inside a burning sports utility vehicle off Taylor Road.

Firefighters were called after a brush fire was reported about 2:10 a.m. Saturday near Taylor and Skewlee roads. They found the vehicle in flames near the woods and later discovered the body inside.
