The Pasco County Sheriff's Office hopes somebody recognizes this picture of a suspected bank robber.
The man walked into the Wachovia Bank, 8740 Mitchell Blvd. in New Port Richey about 11:30 a.m. today and demanded money at gunpoint, deputies said. He was last seen heading behind the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Investigators describe the suspect as a white man in his 50s,about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 200 pounds, with short hair and bad teeth. He was wearing dark pants and tan shoes.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
Four schools – Seven Springs Elementary, Seven Springs Middle, Trinity Oaks Elementary and J.W. Mitchell High – were placed under lockdown as a precaution, but that was lifted at 1 p.m.
