TAMPA - The state fire marshal is investigating a fire at a North Tampa house where a 47-year-old woman was found dead early this morning.
Officials said the fire that began at 1306 E. Poinsettia Ave. about 1:15 a.m. does not appear suspicious.
Lori Ruebenson was a guest at the house. Firefighters found her dead in the burning building, Tampa Fire Rescue Capt. Bill Wade said.
A woman who was a guest at the house escaped without injury, firefighters said. She was not identified.
Ruebenson was a registered nurse whose parents live in Tampa, said her husband, Art Ruebenson of West Palm Beach. Her survivors include two sons, ages 19 and 16.
"She's a lady who loved life. I guarantee that," he said.
Property records show the house is owned by Lloyd B. Richardson. An attempt to reach Richardson was unsuccessful.
