Deputies: Tow Operator Nabbed Auto For Scrap

Arrest warrants were issued today for a tow truck operator accused of taking parked vehicles and selling them for scrap, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
Brady Sprague, 40, is wanted on charges of grand theft auto and issuing fraudulent owner-seller affidavits. Detectives say Sprague stole a vehicle from an apartment complex in Bradenton on July 1 and delivered the car to a scrap yard, where he received $325.
