TAMPA - Attending a University of South Florida football game is the best bargain in the nation among the 66 BCS conference schools, according to a poll conducted by The Oregonian in Portland, Ore.
However, Raymond James Stadium has the distinction of charging $6.75 for a soda, the most expensive soft drink in college football.
For USF's home games, it costs $21.50, for the least-expensive ticket ($10), a hot dog ($4.75) and soda ($6.75). That's the best bargain among BCS schools, according to The Oregonian's poll. Big East rival UConn had the second-best bargain for those items at $34.
The $6.75 soda price at RJS - USF does not control concession prices - was the highest in the nation. USC and Alabama have the next most expensive soda at $6 each.
