St. Petersburg police are looking for a woman they say has robbed four banks since April.
The most recent robbery occurred 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. The woman entered a Wachovia bank at 125 Fifth St. South. The woman had her hand in a jacket, implying she had a weapon, police said. She demanded money from two different tellers, then left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The woman is also suspected of robbing a SunTrust, 6300 Central Ave., on July 28; a BB&T branch, 7100 Fourth St. North, on April 14; and a Fifth Third Bank, 2201 66th St. N., on April 25.
The woman is described as black, between 5 feet and 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 130 pounds with a slender build. She was last seen wearing what appeared to be a multicolored jacket with a hood, a white cloth around her face and neck and large black plastic sunglasses.
