When Rosa Maria Bradley drove from her Brandon home to Temple Terrace on Thursday night to sell 50 oxycodone pills, she was not alone, according to the Temple Terrace Police Department.
Bradley, 22, was accompanied by Michael Keith Berra, 22, Michael Christian Sutton, 17, and Sherena Lynn Stone, 16.
Bradley had one more passenger, police say.
Her 4-year-old son.
Little did she know, the person waiting to buy the pills for $500 was a Temple Terrace police officer.
Shortly after 5 p.m., Bradley, Berra, Sutton and Stone arrived at 11500 Summit West Blvd. and were arrested within minutes. When police searched Bradley's purse, they found two Soma pills, according to a report.
Soma is a muscle relaxant.
Bradley, of 1024 Lochmont Drive, Brandon, and Berra, of 7008 Mottie Road, Gibsonton, both were charged with conspiring to traffic in oxycodone, a felony, and contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a minor, a misdemeanor.
Bradley also was charged with child abuse and possession of a controlled substance, felonies.
Sutton and Stone were charged with felonies, but because they are minors, there was no further information available.
Bradley, listed in jail records as a housecleaner for MTO Cleaning, and Berra, listed n jail records as a sheetrock worker with Smith and Hudson, were being held at Orient Road Jail. Bail had not been set.
