Troopers have identified the people involved in a crash that closed northbound Interstate 275 in Pinellas County for more than an hour Thursday night.
Sgt. Steve Gaskins of the Florida Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred about 7:25 p.m. just north of the Fourth Street North exit.
A four-door Toyota driven by Ilicia Demosky, 20, of Tampa, attempted to change lanes and struck the right side of a 2001 Chevrolet minivan driven by Patrick Peters, 52, of Lutz, a crash investigator reported. The minivan spun around then rolled over.
St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue extracted Peters and 26-year-old Krishana Peters from the overturned vehicle. Troopers said bystanders had assisted two children, 5-year-old Kevin Peters and 2-year-old Brendon Peters, from the minivan. The family was taken to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries.
Demosky and her passenger, 2-year-old Sienna Demosky, were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with minor injuries, according to the accident report. Demosky was cited for changing lanes improperly. Peters was cited for driving with a suspended license.
