Police: Tampa Man Stable After Early Morning Shooting

TAMPA - Police are investigating a shooting that wounded a 27-year-old man early this morning.
Brian Haley of Tampa was listed in stable condition at Tampa General Hospital after the shooting about 3:41 a.m., according to Tampa police.
Few details were available. Police said Haley had dropped off a friend at 3606 E. 25th Ave. this morning after getting food when he was confronted by a gunman and shot on the 3500 block of East 25th Avenue.
Haley returned to his friend's house and collapsed, police said.
Police had no description of the gunman.
