A four-vehicle crash Thursday night in Brandon left a Tennessee woman dead and a man seriously injured.
Thomas Glenn, 64, of Franklin, Tenn., was driving north on Falkenburg Road about 8:30 p.m., when he drove through the intersection at Causeway Boulevard and collided with a Toyota Tacoma heading westbound on Causeway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The impact pushed Glenn's 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis into a Ford F-150 truck driven by Demetrius Crawford, 45, of St. Petersburg, troopers said. Crawford's truck then struck another F-150 driven by Daniel Greenburg of Riverview. Both trucks had been at a complete stop in the left-turn lanes of southbound Falkenburg Road.
Glenn suffered serious injuries. His passenger, 61-year-old Marrian Glenn, also of Franklin, Tenn., was killed.
Neither Crawford nor Greenburg was injured, troopers said. The driver of the Tacoma, Eric Hornsby, 31, of Gibsonton also was not injured.
No charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing.
