Burrows Scores 3 TDs As East Bay Wins

TAMPA - East Bay scored touchdowns on its first three drives of the game on its way to an easy 35-6 victory at King.

Chaz Burrows scored the first three Indians' touchdowns, cashing in from 1, 30 and 15 yards out. East Bay added two touchdowns in the third quarter to finish the scoring for the Indians.

Two of Burrows' touchdowns were set up by long kickoff returns from senior Masiya Stone. Stone took the opening kickoff 80 yards and set up the third Indians' score with a 65-yard return.

King's lone score came in the second quarter as senior quarterback Keith Graham finished off a 67-yard drive on a quarterback keeper up the middle. Graham rushed eight times and was 2-for-11passing for 10 yards. The Lions' offensive line gave Graham time to pass but King receivers couldn't hold on to his throws.

Brandon Peterson's score was set up by an East Bay blocked punt that gave the Indians the ball on the Lions' 10. A procedure penalty moved it back to the 15. On the next play, the junior quarterback faked to the fullback and ran it in himself.

The Indians' final score capped a 75-yard drive that was aided by a 55-yard carry by Burrows, who finished with 122 yards on nine carries. As a team, East Bay rushed for just less than 300 yards while King managed 142.
